FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, is used for detection of ultrasonic diagnostic criteria of predicting complication of choroid detachment during or in early post-operation period of operative glaucoma treatment. Before operative treatment of glaucoma ultrasonic examination of eye-bulb is carried out. If it is detected that increase of choroid thickness is 1.0 mm and higher, increase of optic nerve with envelopes is 6.0 mm and higher, subchorial space appears, threat of detachment of choroid in early post-operation period is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows to predict operation outcome and select corresponding most optimal prophylaxis of choroid detachment in pre-operation period basing on the set of three ultrasonic examination indices.
