FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns coating area by hot dipping. Device for plating on metallic blank by hot dipping contains tank with melt and located before the tank guiding channel, in the area of which there are provided inductors for creation of electromagnetic field, and in area of which by both sides metallic blank there are installed at least two field magnets for creation of electromagnetic field keeping melt in tank and at separate sections of guide channel it is provided increased volume of melt formed ensured by side salience of walls of guide channels. Additionally increased volume of melt can be formed ensured by side feed of additional melt.
EFFECT: device provides keeping smooth melt for immersion at usage of electromagnetic gate and improvement of applied coating.
