SUBSTANCE: absorption membrane (1) of the detector is suspended using at least one heat insulating bearing part (5ab) on the front face of a substrate (2), which has at least two electrical leads (3), which are electrically connected to the membrane (1) through conducting layers (9), for example. The bearing part (5ab) has at least one end-base (6) and a raised area (7). The end-base (6) is attached to the top part of a conducting column (8), whose base is rigidly attached to one of the electrical leads (3). The essentially flat area of the bottom side of the membrane (1) is in direct contact with the raised area (7) of the bearing part (5ab). The bearing part (5ab) is preferably formed by a bridge with a second end-base (6) which is attached to the top part of a second column (8), and the raised area (7) is formed by the flat middle part of the bridge.
EFFECT: increased ratio of the radiation sensitive surface area of the bolometre to its total surface area.
