SUBSTANCE: invention relates to IR radiation detection devices and serves to form IR images. In compliance with this invention, the proposed bolometric detector comprises a sensitive part with one or several sensitive material layers, the material specific resistance varying with temperature, and isolated electrodes acting as IR radiation absorbers. Note that aforesaid electrodes are in contact with the said sensitive material along, at least, a part of their surface. Note also that the proposed detector comprises, at least, one bearing surface to position aforesaid sensitive part acting as an electric conductor relative to readout circuit connected with the bolometric detector. The proposed detector comprises also, at least, one, heat-insulation structure interconnecting, electrically and mechanically, every bearing surface. the said sensitive material surfaces, out of contact with the electrodes, feature, at least, one crimp oriented along the direction perpendicular to the plane comprising the bolometric detector sensitive part.
EFFECT: improved characteristics at preset sizes and thermal time constant.
