FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to bolometric detector and device for detection of infrared radiation using such detector. Bolometric detector of electromagnet radiation, comprising sensitive part or membrane, which includes one or several layers of sensitive material (6), specific resistance of which depends on temperature; the first electroconductive elements, which are electrically connected to circuit of data reading joined to bolometric detector, and working as, on one hand, electrodes for specified detector and being in contact with sensitive material (6) for this purpose, and on the other hand, as absorber of electromagnetic radiation; the second electroconductive elements with floating potential, working only as absorber of electromagnetic radiation; at least one supporting area (3) for sensitive part, which performs function of specified sensitive part and electric conductor positioning versus specified circuit of data reading; at least one heat insulation structure (4), which electrically and mechanically joins each supporting area (3) to sensitive part; at the same time conducting elements are distributed in the form of two crossing grids (5A, 5B) of conducting paths imposed one over another, besides the first (5A) out of two grids comprises all specified first conductive elements.

EFFECT: maximisation of useful area of bolometric material surface (maximisation of product W·L) independently on resistance of bolometric material.
