SUBSTANCE: invention is provided for increasing of functionality of installation for casting at manufacturing of metallic strip by means of direct rolling. Method includes casing on machine for casing of thin slab, its rolling at least at one rolling line with usage of primary casting heating. Technical result is achieved ensured by casted thin slab between machinery for casting and at least one rolling line is passed through at least one intermediate furnace and at least through one induction-arc furnace, herewith intermediate furnace and induction-arc furnace are activated or deactivated depending on selected mode, particularly, the first continuous mode and the second continuous mode of manufacturing of metallic strip. Device contains corresponding equipment for manufacturing of metallic strip by means of direct rolling.
EFFECT: productivity increasing at combination of direct and continuous rolling.
