FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining transparent heat-resistant glass-ceramic material refers to procedure of optic materials intended for being used in conditions of considerable temperature drops, namely in heating devices, including as the following which is resistant to thermal shock: as kitchen stove panels, furnace openings, fire-screens, heat-resistant houseware. Glass-ceramic material includes the following components, mol %: SiO2 - 54.0-64.0; Al2O3 - 24.0-27.0; Li2O - 12-19; TiO2 - 6.0-8.0; CoO - 0.005-2.0. TiO2 and CoO are introduced above 100% of the main composition. This material is obtained by glass melting, its forming, annealing and heat treatment in two stages: at 680-740°C during 2-12 hours, then at 750-800°C during 2-24 hours, and further glass cooling to room temperature. The produced item is transparent, painted blue and has low thermal coefficient of expansion (10-12)·10-7 deg-1.
EFFECT: producing transparent blue glass-ceramic material with low thermal coefficient of expansion.
