FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in experimental ophthalmology for modelling neovascularisation of disk of optic nerve to enable estimate of effectiveness of antiangiogenic, antiinflammatory preparations. That is ensured by intravenous introduction of chlorine photosensitiser to a rabbit in a dose 2.5 mg/kg of weight. Ten minutes later disk of optic nerve is exposed to transpupillary laser irradiation. Power density is 200-250 J/cm2, lasing spot diametre is 6 mm.
EFFECT: method provides development of supplemental vessels of disk of optic nerve with pathological vascular wall, and also partial substitution of neural connective tissue.
