FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: simulating partial optic atrophy is ensured by intravenous introduction of a chlorine photosensitiser in dosage 2.4 mg/kg of weight to a rabbit. 15 minutes later, the optic disk is transpupillary exposed to laser of power density 200-250 J/cm2. The laser spot diametre is 5 mm.
EFFECT: extended range of products for simulating partial optic atrophy.
