FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of adaptive equalisation of messages transfer parameters can be used for transferring the discrete information protected with the noise combating code in non-stationary channels of low-performance communications. The outgoing message is first encoded with the noise combating code on the transmitting side of the channel and than transmitted to the communications channel with certain speed. The code is decoded at the receiving side, and evaluated according the results of decoding. After that the decision of changing parameters of noise combating code is taken. Thereby, the total number of errors is calculated in sliding window on the receiving side of the channel when decoding the noise combating code. If the first limit value of errors is exceeded than the transmission speed gets decreased. If the first limit value of errors is not exceeded but higher than the second limit value than the transmission speed remains unchanged, however, excessiveness of the noise combating code gets changed. If total amount of errors is less than the second limit value, the transmission speed gets increased.
EFFECT: increase of transmission capacity of communications channel.
