SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for excitation of Coriolis mass flow metre tubes or vibration tubular density metre. Measurement electronics includes interface (201) and data processing system (203). Data processing system is configured to receive signal (210) of sensor through interface, 90 degrees phase shift of signal (210) of sensor, determination of phase shift value as to frequency characteristic of vibration flow metre and integration of phase shift value with signal (201) of sensor and phase-shifted signal from sensor in order to generate phase (213) of excitation signal. In addition, data processing system is configured to determine amplitude (214) of sensor signal as per signal (210) of sensor and phase-shifted signal from sensor, and forming amplitude (215) of excitation signal on the basis of amplitude (214) of sensor signal; at that, phase (213) of excitation signal is identical to phase (212) of sensor signal.
EFFECT: invention improves excitation accuracy, thus providing instantaneous adjustment of excitation signal in conditions of multi-phase flows containing entrapped air, as well as minimises current requirements for excitation signal.
