FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the adjustment of an increase in radiation stiffness for tomographic reconstructions. Methods and devices disclosed in this document provide for the adjustment of an increase in radiation stiffness in tomographic reconstruction using a simplified Alvarez-Makowski attenuation model. A typical method includes simplification of a direct projection model, while the direct projection model is based on the Alvarez-Makowski (hereinafter – AM) attenuation model, wherein simplification of the direct projection model leads to simplification of the AM attenuation model due to one of assumptions including the choice of a photo effect, constant density, constant atomic number and density proportional to the atomic number, and performance of iterative reconstruction of a sample using a simplified direct projection model, while the iterative reconstruction is weighted by the first spectrum, wherein data, obtained as a result of measurements, on the visualization of the sample used in iterative reconstruction is obtained at the first energy level, and the reverse operation of iterative reconstruction is not coupled with the simplified direct projection model.
