FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to zootechnics. Method consists in the fact that blood is taken from animals of various breeds, types, lines, and blood group genotypes are detected by locus A, B, D, F, G, H, K, L, M ,E. Calculation of homogeneity and genetic affinity is carried out. Best combinations of breeds, types, lines are selected by higher homogeneity and low genetic affinity. Also stress-sensitivity is detected by loci A and H and immune compatibility by locust A. Index of heterosis is calculated using the following formula:
where Mfp is average sum of paternal breeds, types, lines factors, and Mfm is average sum of factors of maternal breed, type, line. Pairs of breeds, types, lines are selected by index of heterosis that exceeds 100%.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy of selection and to reduce time required to assess tested specialised breeds, types, lines for their compatibility.
