SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for breeding pigs for improving reproductive qualities, which consists in the fact that at weaning, blood is taken from pigs at the age of 30 days to study their genotype by the method for immunogenetic analysis, characterized in that in order to increase reproductive qualities, they are selected in the group of replacement and breeding animals for sale of a pig with the Ebdg /… genotype according to the system of Ε blood groups.
EFFECT: invention allows improving reproductive qualities of sows, in particular, multiple pregnancies.
