FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: palatal arches and tonsillar niche bottom are underrun with interrupted W-sutures. The needle is pricked into the anterior palatal arch from the mucous membrane, and the needle is pricked out along a section line of the anterior palatal arch mucosa. That is followed by pricking in along the section line of the posterior palatal arch mucosa. The tonsillar niche bottom is underrun by delivering the needle in a constrictor muscle from the floor of the posterior palatal arch to that of the anterior palatal arch. The needle is pricked in from the floor of the anterior palatal arch to deliver it from the anterior palatal arch at 3-5 mm in the lateral direction from the lateral direction from the first prick-in. The filament ends are clipped and pulled back together with the underrun arches upwards. The tonsillar niches are underrun in such a manner alternatively with 4-6 separate stitches. The ligatures are drawn tight.

EFFECT: method enables providing the reliable homeostasis by vascular compression of the tonsillar niche with the interrupted sutures, reducing the postoperative inflammatory reactions by approximation of homogenous tissues and closure of the wound surface of the tonsillar niche.
