FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to conversion of copper-sulphide regulus into blister copper. Proposed method comprises copper-sulphide regulus and flux into suitable phase of mixed slag phase and blowing oxidizing gas from discharge nozzle arranged on injection tuyere lower end to produce blister copper. Note here that in conversion, copper produces blister copper continuous phase under slag phase, or is added thereto. Injection tuyere nozzle is located inside slag phase at the depth allowing blown-in gas to mix slag phase and to react with aforesaid regulus dispersed therein and, at a time, to prevent the contact between notable portion of aforesaid gas with blister copper continuous phase.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
