FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in medical diagnostics, in chemical industry, and also for ecological monitoring, for the method of selective air analysis for acetone concentration. The method consists in passing the analysed air through a piezogravimetric sensor with a gas-sensitive layer applied on a quartz piezoresonator electrodes presenting a film of one pectin: either mountain ash, or sugar beet, or citron, or apple of thickness 10-20 mcm, measurement of proper vibration frequency of the piezoresonator with indication acetone in the sample shown by changing the latter. The presence of acetone in the sample is stated by increased proper vibration frequency of the piezoresonator.

EFFECT: method allows simplifying process, reducing labour input and error of air analysis for acetone.
