FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for determining gas concentration, namely ammonia, ethanol, acetone, and can be used for medical diagnostics, for ecological monitoring in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgic, refrigerating, electronic, automobile and some other industries. According to invention, sensor includes quartz piezoelectric resonator and electrodes with gas-sensing film coating from pectin extracted from plant raw material, for example ashberry, citrus, apple, beet bin, and sunflower. Gas-sensing coating 10-20 mcm thick is made by means of multiple repetition of operations of aerosol spray of water solution of polymer with water drop radius (5-15)·10-8 m and further drying at indoor temperature.

EFFECT: invention allows enlarging usable range in relation to analysed gaseous media, reducing labour input of sensor production and its cost.
