FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory analysis techniques and can be used for quantitative analysis of catechol amine- and serotonin-receptor complexes on the surface of leucocytes in blood slides or human and animal tissue sections. The method involves capturing objects with a digital camera during microcopying. The images of the objects are digitally processed using Adobe Photoshop - five cells of the individual under analysis and five regions of the background of the slide. Further, the expression level of catechol amine- and serotonin-receptor complexes on the surface of leucocytes is calculated as a ratio of the average value of brightness of the image of leucocytes to the average value of brightness of the image of the background of the slide, expressed in percentages.
EFFECT: use of the method increases accuracy of measurement results.
