FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves microwave signal forming, irradiation of the patient's organ, generation and processing of the received signal. The microwave signal is formed by a sweep generator, while irradiation of the patient's organ and organ signal generation are enabled by a contact near-field resonance-type transducer. The resonant curve of said transducer enables evaluating the frequency offset and variation of resonant amplitude of the received signal. Said values are used to determine dielectric permeability and conductivity of biological tissues. A device comprises a microwave signal source, a transducer and a signal processing and recording unit. The microwave signal source represents a sweep generator, while the transducer comprises the contact near-field resonance-type transducer. Its input is connected to the output of the sweep generator, and the output through series detector and analogue-to-digital converter is connected to the signal processing and recording unit. The clock-signal output of the sweep generator is connected to the clock-signal inputs of the analogue-to-digital converter and the signal processing and recording unit with its driving output connected to the driving input of the analogue-to-digital converter.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement of electrodynamic parametres of biological tissues.
