FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: continuous basalt fibre from molten basalt mine rocks with high strength, temperature and chemical stability is used for construction materials with heat insulation and sound proof properties, in power engineering and other industries. The effect of invention is reached by the fact that continuous basalt fibre on the basis of molten basalt mine rocks contains the following components, wt %: continuous basalt fibre containing SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, FeO, CaO, MgO, Na2O, K2O contains the above components in the following quantities: SiO2 47.5-50.2, Al2O312.6-15.1, Fe2O3 14.0-18.0, FeO 10.0-12.0, CaO 6.0-12.0, MgO 4.8-6.7, Na2O 0.3-2.3, K2O 0.5-2.6. Stability of required molten basalt temperature influencing strength and operating properties of fibre is provided at the following ratio of main fibre-forming iron oxides >2.5(SiO2+Al2O3)/(Fe2O3 FeO)>2.25.
EFFECT: development of continuous basalt fibre with specified metric series (of diametres) of fibres with high strength and operating properties.
