FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of continuous basalt fibre and technology of its obtaining and can be used in chemical and building industry, in particular for reinforcement of concretes. Continuous basalt-based fibre contains the following components, wt %: aluminium oxide 11.5-19.5; mixture of iron oxides 7.0-13.5; titanium oxide 0.5-5.0; calcium oxide 7.0-15.5; magnesium oxide 2.5-11.0; potassium oxide 0.5-2.5; sodium oxide 1.5-3.5; zirconium oxide 1.0-16.5; lanthanum oxide 0.5-5.5 and silicon oxide - the remaining part. Method of manufacturing claimed continuous fibre is also disclosed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain continuous basalt fibre with improved alkali resistance and increased strength properties.
