FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: system consists of at least two detector plates (detector heads) dimensions of which are optimised for the chest, axillary region, brain, prostate gland or limbs; mechanised tools that enable manually or computer actuated moving of plates with possibility to obtain data in a number of orientations required to reconstruct a topography image; an electronics systems consisting of an input electronics system located on the detector heads, and of a start and data acquisition system mounted in crates out of the detector; computer programs for data acquisition and control, and computer programs for image reconstruction and analysis that ensure reconstruction, visualisation and analysis of data obtained in the course of testing.

EFFECT: design of the system for human body examination and acquisition of functional images of internal regions of body parts or a body of a small animal, being based on binding of specific molecules marked by a positron radiator with certain regions, bodies, tissues, activity types or body functions.
