FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for positron emission tomography (PET). Invention consists in the fact that PET device has a detector array including separate detectors which receive radiation events from the imaging area. Movement controller controls at least one of the relative longitudinal movement between support for a subject and a detector matrix or circular movement between the detector matrix and the subject. Time processor marks each received radiation event with temporary time signs . Buffer memory for events storage stores events with time mark in a list mode. Event verification processor selects simultaneously received emission events location of which for each pair of corresponding simultaneously received events determine the response line. Reconstruction processor reconstructs the reliable event in a form of an image visualization.
EFFECT: technical result: improvement of spatial data sampling of PET, as well as improved image resolution and providing more effective visual field.
