FIELD: city rail transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed sectional frog contains casting with roll surface for vehicle wheels, inserts and cover plates rigidly clamping the casting by middle sections by means of bolts. End sections of frog are bent in direction to rails adjoining the frog. Casting roll surface is made even in level lower than mark of top of heads of adjoining rails by value equal to height of wheel flange. Outlines of end faces of casting are circular curves in plan with center in point of intersection of casting symmetry axes. Proposed sectional frog is universal providing crossing of rail lines within range of angles. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 dwg
