SUBSTANCE: proposed is a developing device for use with an electrophotographic image-forming device which has: a chamber with a developer inside; a developing chamber which has an element for carrying and supplying the developer, for developing an electrostatic latent image on an electrophotographic element with a light-sensitive surface layer; an element for mixing the developer, which is made with possibility of rotating in the chamber for mixing the developer in the said developing chamber with subsequent supply of the developer from the said chamber into the developing chamber through an aperture made in the top part of the said chamber; a wall surface, provided in the said chamber for bringing into contact with the free end of the said element for mixing the developer during movement of the said element for mixing the developer; a developer detecting element for detecting the remaining amount of developer, the position where the free end of the element for mixing the developer is separate from the wall surface is higher than the developer detecting element and is inside the chamber containing the developer.

EFFECT: provision for a developing device, a process cartridge and an electrophotographic image-forming device, in which the amount of remaining developer can be accurately detected.
