FIELD: nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to atomic power engineering, particularly methods of carrying out maintenance works on power blocks of atomic power stations and can be used when repairing process systems and safety systems. The method of carrying out repair works on an energy block of an atomic power station with a channel-type reactor involves checking, repairing and regulating process systems, control and safety system of the reactor, emergency cooling system of the reactor, containment system of the reactor and excess-pressure protection system. Repair works are carried out on a shut-down reactor in 4-6 days. Pressure is kept at 5-7 MPa in the multiple forced circulation contour of the reactor (MFCC).
EFFECT: invention enables reduction of volume and cuts on time for carrying out repair works due to conducting repairs without cooling down the multiple forced circulation contour while maintaining air-tightness of connections of the multiple forced circulation contour.
