FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to atomisers of liquids and solutions. Proposed nozzle comprises casing with swirling chamber, and nozzle insert. Swirling chamber represents cylindrical barrel with its axis in drawing plane perpendicular to those of inlet and throttle holes. Note here that axis of inlet and throttle holes is located tangentially with respect to swirling chamber. Note here that nozzle insert is arranged coaxially with swirling chamber. The former accommodates three calibrated orifices, i.e. conical orifice, cylindrical orifice and shaped orifice, arranged sequentially and aligned with each other and cylindrical surface of swirling chamber. Note here also that diametre of nozzle insert cylindrical orifice equals that of truncated cone upper base of conical orifice and diametre of cylindrical part of shaped orifice. Said nozzle insert is made from hard materials, i.e. tungsten, ruby and sapphire carbide.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of fuel atomising.
