FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to atomisers of liquids and solutions. Proposed nozzle comprises casing 1 with swirling chamber 2 and nozzle insert 5. Casing 1 has inlet hole 4 representing a confuser and throttle hole 2 aligned with the latter. Swirling chamber 2 represents cylindrical barrel with its axis in drawing plane perpendicular to those of inlet and throttle holes. Note here that axis of inlet 4 and throttle 3 holes is located tangentially with respect to swirling chamber 2. Note here that nozzle insert 5 is arranged coaxially with swirling chamber 2. The former accommodates three calibrated orifices, i.e. conical orifice 6, cylindrical orifice 7 and shaped orifice 8, arranged sequentially and aligned with each other and cylindrical surface of swirling chamber. Note here also that diametre of nozzle insert cylindrical orifice 7 equals that of truncated cone upper base of conical orifice 6 and diametre of cylindrical part of shaped orifice 8. Said nozzle insert is made from hard materials, i.e. tungsten, ruby and sapphire carbide.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of fuel atomising.
