FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas cleaning of dust and harmful chemicals and may be used in metallurgy for, mainly, gas cleaning and wetting. Proposed device comprises cylindrical case, confuser, inlet and outlet branch pipes, sprinkling system and bin. Branch pipe is arranged at the case bottom, its axis making acute angle with that of said case. Inlet branch pipe end is dipped into fluid in tapered bin. Sprinkler made up of irrigation several lines with nozzles is arranged at scrubber top section. Water is fed to said irrigation lines via manifolds arranged outside said scrubber and made up of annular section of pipeline connected with supply pipelines. Said nozzles are connected to manifolds radially with preset spacing via tubes with damping inserts. Casing of every nozzle has confuser-like inlet and restricting orifice aligned therewith while swirling chamber is made up of cylindrical barrel. Inlet and restricting orifice are located perpendicular and tangentially to said swirling chamber. Nozzle insert is arranged aligned with said swirling chamber to house three restricting orifices located sequentially and coaxially, one with another and with swirling chamber cylindrical surface: tapered, cylindrical central and outlet orifices.
EFFECT: higher quality of gas cleaning.
