FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: plug is provided for regulation of consumption of molten metal and feeding into it of inert gas. Plug allows rod-shaped casing manufactured of ceramic refractory material. In casing it is implemented blind hole passing from top end up to bottom. In bottom of plug it is implemented gas outlet allowing cross section less than cross-sectional area of opening in casing. Opening in casing is filled by filler in which it is implemented gas outlet connecting opening in casing with gas inlet. Efficiency of gas feeding is increased by means of creation inside the plug of particular resistance to gas flow ensured by implementation of gas channel of maximal length and decreased diametre.
EFFECT: upgraded efficiency.
