FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: at the first stage it is implemented heating of rails ends up to temperature of connection be means of compression to each other at simultaneous motion of butt surfaces relative to each other. Additionally rails ends are driven into oscillatory motion relative to each other with maximal amplitude of oscillation perpendicularly to direction of main axis Y with maximal moment of inertia of surface of cross section. At the second stage it is created joint of after alignment of contours or cross sections by means of compression to each other of butt surfaces.
EFFECT: reduction of permutation bending efforts at relative motion of rails ends, improvement of friction conditions for receiving of energy at butt surfaces, and also conformal for cross section high-quality metallic joint of rails.
