FIELD: production of composite materials for electrical engineering and aeronautics. SUBSTANCE: method for production of carbon fibrous material. Includes impregnation of hydrated cellulose fibrous material with solution of catalyst 4% solution of polymethyl siloxane in acetone heating up to 120-300 C for 0.4-2.0 h; cooling down to 18-30 C for 0.050-0.2 h; repeated heating under said conditions at deformation degree of 0-(-10)% carbonizing at heating up to 180-600 C with deformation degree of (-25)-(+30)% within interval of 300-400 C; graphitization at 900-2800 C with deformation degree of (-10)-(+25)% Pyrolysis products formed at carbonization stage with temperature of 360-450 C are withdrawn. Graphitization may be effected in the presence of carrac-containing compounds. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl
