FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation and can be used in engineering industry for identification (recognition) of heated metal and non-heated metal and non-metal products, as well as non-contact position control sensor of metal and non-metal products considering their thermal state and material type. According to invention, the device includes inductive sensing element, electric oscillation generator, the first and the second threshold elements, the first and the second infrared photoreceivers, pulse shaper, as well as the first and the second logic elements OR-NOT, logic element AND, multivibrator with capacitor sensing element and detector.
EFFECT: device provides identification of heated metal and non-heated metal and non-metal products without contacting them with high operating reliability in conditions when external infrared radiation sources influence it.
