FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation and can be used in engineering industry for identification (recognition) of heated metal and non-metal and non-heated metal products. According to invention, product identification and position control device includes a sensing element comprised with inductive and capacitor sensing elements and two infrared photoreceivers, electric oscillation generator, two threshold elements, pulse shaper, three logic elements AND, multivibrator, detector.
EFFECT: device provides identification of products without contacting them with high operating reliability in conditions when external infrared radiation sources influence it and when external heated and non-heated metal and non-metal objects penetrate into operating zone of its sensing element.
