FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: silicophosphate glass for immobilising radioactive wastes contains sodium oxide, aluminium oxide, boron oxide, phosphorus oxide and natural impurities of oxides of polyvalent elements, and additionally contains silicon oxide, with the following ratio of components in wt %: Na2O 18.0-27.5 Al2O3 14.0-26.0, B2O3 0.0-6.0, P2O5 40.0-55.0 SiO2 1.0-10.5 The sum of oxides of wastes, contains Al2O3, SiO2, impurities of oxides of polyralent elements (products of clividing and corrosion) 18.0-36.0.

EFFECT: obtaining quality homogeneous glass with high chemical, thermal and crystallisation resistance, as well as considerably high content of radioactive wastes.
