FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to pulse oximeter testers. The tester comprises a sensor functionally imitating a finger inserted into a receiver of the pulse oximeter. The sensor comprises a light-emitting diode, photodiodes provided in two channels, photocurrent amplifiers, electric signal modulators, an adder and a microcontroller. From a face turned to a radiator of the pulse oximeter, there is a light-scattering element optically connected with light filters provided on the inputs of light-isolated channels, one of which passes only a red component in the radiation range of the pulse oximeter, and the other one - only infra-red. Each channel has beam-splitting plates branching radiant fluxes onto the photodiode with a preamplifier and through an additional light filter, onto the additional photodiode with the preamplifier. The photodiode is connected with the microcontroller and through the amplifier - with the modulator managed by the microcontroller. The additional photodiode is also connected to the microcontroller. The microcontroller and modulators are connected to the adder. On the output of the adder there is a light-emitting diode with its radiation directed on the photodiode of the pulse oximeter and radiation spectrum being within the sensitivity area of the photodiode of the pulse oximeter.
EFFECT: invention provides testing of pulse oximeters of various types and manufacturers, and also reduces a testing error due to complex test of the electronic module and sensor of the pulse oximeters.
