FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology. Compression sutures are applied on uterus. It involves a circular suture containing two ligatures in fundus of uterus through a serous layer with a needle pricked in and out at the distance 2-4 cm. The ligature ends one of which is tensed are delivered on the anterior wall of uterus, then the circular sutures are applied in two ligatures through the serous layer from the fundus to the neck of uterus separated 5-7 cm. The ends of one ligature in each suture are fastened. After reliable haemostasis is provided, free ligature remained is fastened.
EFFECT: method allows reducing number of radical surgeries and preserving reproductive function of the patients.
