FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy and may be used in aluminous production in process of aluminate solutions decomposition. Decomposer for decomposition of aluminate solutions includes cylindrical body 1 with flat bottom 2 and cover 3, multi-tier mixing device installed along axis of body with drive arranged on cover, nozzles for supply of suspension 10 and its extraction 11, vertical partitions 9, installed radially and fixed on inner surface of body. Mixing device consists of vertical shaft 4, on which blades 5 are fixed in several layers. Number of blades 5 at upper and lower tiers of mixing device is at least more by one than at other tiers.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce power inputs by 10-15%.
