FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to separation and extraction method of precious metals. Method involves passing of muriatic solution of metals at least of two types chosen among metals of platinum group and gold through the first column with cellulose sorbing agent. After the solution has been passed, precious metals are eluated with mixture of salt acid and 2-propanone so that the fraction containing light metals of platinum group is obtained, and the fraction containing heavy metals of platinum group and gold is obtained. Then the fraction containing light metals of platinum group is separated by means of the above mixture into fractions containing palladium, ruthenium and rhodium respectively. The fraction containing heavy metals of platinum group and gold is passed through the second column with cellulose sorbing agent for adsorption of metals on cellulose. Elution of the above metals from cellulose is performed by means of mixture of salt acid and 1-butanol so that the fractions containing gold, osmium, iridium and platinum are obtained, and the above precious metals are extracted.
EFFECT: effective separation of precious metals and obtaining them being pure.
