FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: wet charge is supplied to pelletiser in two flows with controlled flow rate. The first one is introduced to compressed air flow heated to 20-250°C so that gas wet charge jet is formed. Sputtering of charge is performed so that sputtered layer is formed on endless flexible or fabric tape moving with speed of 0.05-1.5 m/s and wound on rotating rollers, one of which is drive, through plate dividers rigidly installed on the tape surface. Germs are formed by cutting the sputtered layer with plate dividers, by bending of the tape, by changing its direction, by removing sputtered layer from the tape surface. Germs are completely pelletised by the charge of the second flow till pellets are formed. At that, flexible tape and plate dividers are heated to 100-250°C by heated compressed air jets oriented through plate dividers towards flexible tape surface immediately before sputtered layer. At that, after the sputtered layer is cut with plate dividers on it there made are transverse cuts with a rotating drum with ribs made from antifriction materials; at that, drum is installed coaxially with drive roller.
EFFECT: increasing strength of pellets and efficiency of the method.
