FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves loading of aluminium paste, rearrangement of pins, forming of secondary anode by loading the specified amount of pin paste into the hole at the pin rearrangement, keeping of specified current density and electrolyte level, cutting of anode periphery and compaction of the upper anode paste layer, the anode periphery is cut simultaneously with the compaction of the upper anode paste layer and treatment by ultrasound for 5-10 minutes with the ultrasound frequency being equal to f=18-35 kHz. The anode periphery cutting with the compaction of the upper anode paste layer and ultrasound treatment shall be performed once per 5-25 days.
EFFECT: reduced destruction of the anode periphery, decrease of its oxidability and friability.
