FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of ion-plasma application of nanostructured metal coating on part and may find application in chemical-thermal treatment of metal articles that operate under conditions of contact-cyclic loading. Method is carried out with application of high-voltage vacuum bushing to installation of "Bulat" type with cooled mount part and wire heater-evaporator around this part. Part is installed in vacuum chamber, vacuum of 0.01 Pa is pulled. Cathode cleaning of treated part surface is carried out by means of argon supply into vacuum chamber to the pressure of 1-2 Pa, heating of wire heater-evaporator to the temperature of red heat, disconnection of heating and supplying direct current to part with voltage of up to 1500 V. Application of metal coating onto treated part is carried out by means of heater-evaporator heating, supply of nitrogen-hydrogen mixture to chamber up to pressure of 1-2 Pa, application of DC voltage of 200-600 V between heater-evaporator and part with simultaneous cooling of treated part to produce gradient of temperature of 700-1400°C.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance of parts by 5-10 times.
