FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: elastic casing consists of cylinder and two end parts. Bushing 4 for pumping the casing with compressed air is installed in the wall of the cylinder part. Branch 5 is arranged in bushing 4; end 6 of the branch projects outward beyond the wall of pipeline 7. Second branch 8 with thread 9 sealed with packing rings 10 is screwed into the branch. The elastic casing is introduced into the pipeline with vertically oriented branch 5 for installation in the pipeline. Further, branch 5 is let through opening in the wall of pipeline 7. Second branch 8 is screwed into the first one and the elastic casing is pumped till complete sealing of a pipeline cavity.
EFFECT: increased safety of operation at installation of elastic casing into pipeline and at successive repair; simplification of design of elastic casing fixture.
