SUBSTANCE: device for protection of insulation joints against accumulation of metal chips includes a set of permanent magnets with magnetic induction of at least 0.07 Tesla. Set is installed along with train motion in front of traffic lights on rail journal between head and foot of rail on length equal to length of locomotive wheel circumference, starting from insulated pad that connects two rails.

EFFECT: invention prevents shorting of electric circuit in insulation joints of rails.
