FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for evaluating at least one chemical and/or physical property of a specimen or sample and offers an alternative strategy of correlating interference information with chemical and/or physical properties of a specimen, as well as an interferometre standardisation method. The evaluation method and system employ a modulation apparatus which has an interferometre with difference in optical path ranging from 10 mcm to 10000 mcm, which is obtained by moving at least one optical component of the interferometre using a solid-state exciter.

EFFECT: simple evaluation without considerable deterioration of its statistical quality.
