SUBSTANCE: invention refers image generation device. Developing cartridge used in device of image generation comprises developing element installed in cartridge body, besides developing element is configured for development of hidden electrostatic image into visible image; installation compartment formed in body for location of replacement cartridge in it for developer containing additional amount of developer; and compartment for storage of developer provided in body for storage of the first amount of developer, and cartridge is configured to supply developing element with developer from the first amount of developer, even when replacement cartridge for developer is not inserted into installation compartment. Image generation device includes light-sensitive element to retain hidden electrostatic image on it, developing cartridge, including, controller configured to identify whether replacement cartridge for developer has been inserted into installation compartment, and to provide for developer supply onto developing element from the first amount of developer.

EFFECT: invention may eliminate necessity of frequent cartridge replacement.
