FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology, and is designed for risk evaluation of developing of neoplastic process in the prostate gland in men over forty. A study of Doppler of venous transrectal prostatic plexus with endocavital detector 7-9 MHz is carried out. In the presence in the spectrogram of monophase pseudopulsating blood flow non-synchronised with the act of breathing the conclusion is made that there is an atypical type of blood flow, and the risk of neoplastic process in the prostate gland is evaluated as average. In the presence if the spectrogram of monophase pseudopulsating blood flow, with a predominance of pulse waves, synchronised with the act of breathing the conclusion is made that there is a transitional type of blood flow, and the risk of neoplastic process in the prostate gland is evaluated as low. In the presence if the spectrogram of monophase, smoothed formed envelope of the Doppler spectrum of blood flow the conclusion is made that there is a markedly atypical-type blood, the risk is high.

EFFECT: method allows for highly accurate evaluation of the risk of neoplastic processes in the prostate gland in men older than forty years.
