FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metal pressure working and is to be implemented in forging shops of metallurgic and machine-building works for manufacturing of hollow parts. Round source blank and driven puncheon are placed in a container inside a step of lesser diametre formed by annular spring mandrel. Immobile mandrel is positioned in the container orifice. Forging is performed in three stages. At the first stage bulge is formed at the blank end by upsetting the blank with driven puncheon on immobile mandrel. At the second stage a disc is formed out of the blank with bulge. Diametre dimensions of the disc formed are limited by surface of through orifice in container. At the third stage disc is extruded through impression formed by surface of through orifice in container and side surface of the end of at least one mandrel. Thus the part wall is formed.
EFFECT: improved quality of finished products.
