FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used at forge shops. Initial round blank is extruded through axially symmetric strand formed by the surfaces of stationary piercing point bar and larger stage of container stepped hole. Note here that drive punch and blank are arranged inside smaller-diametre stage while piercing point bar is located in larger-diametre hole stage. Forging is made in two stages. During the first stage, blank is backed-out by direct extrusion into washer by drive punch on piercing point bar. At the same time, axial force is applied to the face of formed washer via container in direction complying with that of drive punch. During the second stage, the describe process is continued and, by reverse method, the washer part wall is extruded by displacing together drive punch and container. Note here that diametral sizes of the part of container larger stage part inner surface are limited.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished products.
